Akanksha celebrated Ekattha, its Community Day on the 21st of December amidst much cheer and joy in Pune.

It was a day when our staff, teachers, counsellors and social workers came together to showcase their best practices at Akanksha. We celebrated our people and innovative practices that make Akanksha’s model of education unique and fit for the holistic development of our children.

The day commenced on a note of joy as the people of Akanksha proceeded towards presenting their best practices to Akanksha’s members and the guests. The practices were centred around our Student Vision which envisions a positive change for our students. Akanksha’s schools and teams presented unique models and presentations that exuded innovation and creativity as they expressed the steps taken towards the vision of equipping children with essential skills and values.

 All the teams took great pride as they shared their best practices with Akanksha’s members and members from different non-profits. The day saw all the teams come together to amplify Ekattha’s essence. The Community Day derives its essence from the Hindi word, ‘Ekattha’ which means – Together.    

 Ekattha came to a joyous end with a hearty dance for our members as they celebrated the success of the event with a spirit of togetherness and gratitude.
