Raising the bar…SSC results

With immense joy, we share that across the three schools that sat for the exam this year (2017) – KCTVN, AVBS and Shindewadi (for the first time) – we achieved a 100% pass percentage, with 80% of our students achieving a first class or distinction (and 99% a second class or above!) – far surpassing the results of the state of Maharashtra.

Across our Mumbai and Pune centers, we achieved a 97% pass percentage- also far outperforming the state.  Most importantly, however, is that our own results improve year on year – meaning we are continuously learning and getting better with time.

In the graph below you can see a 100% pass rate in all our three schools that sat the exam this year.

KCTVN (the red bar)  our first and oldest school has had a consistent 100% pass rate for five years now

Acharya Vinoba Bhave School (the blue bar), our only secondary school has had an almost 100% pass rate for three years.

Finally Shindewadi MPS (the green bar), the first school in Mumbai to sit the exam for the first time this year, had a joyous 100% pass rate as well.

Akanksha schools have been out performing the state of Maharashtra which has maintained a pass percentage ranging from 89% to 94%.

Now in the year 2014 at Acharya Vinoba Bhave, CEO Saurabh Taneja was a School Leader there. It was the first year the school was going to sit the SSC exam. The school had an almost perfect pass rate, save for one child who had to sit her math paper once again. In the video Saurabh talks about this one child.
